The Phuket International Cricket Sixes 2008 16th–20th April 2008
The Calcutta Cricket & Football Club produced a Sixes masterclass as all opposition was ruthlessly
swept aside in their quest for the Cup. The Calcutta side amassed a tournament record 116 runs in five
overs during their demolition of Etihad Airways CC (UAE) in the Cup Final. Go to the

Metals Exploration Philippine International Cricket Sixes 2008 7th–9th March 2008
A brand new event hit the ACST calendar in March. Organised by Nomads Sports Club and the ACST the
inaugural Philippine Sixes took place at the Parade Ground, Clark Freeport, with two cricket ovals just
minutes walk from the tournament hotel. Thirteen teams, including a team of 100% ethnic Korean students,
took part and were joined by former England & Surrey wicket-keeper Jack Richards. The event was a
resounding success and teams are already putting their names down for next year. Go to the

ACST Scoops Third ICC Award — Lighthouse Phuket International Cricket Sixes 2005 ICC Award Goes Global!
Having already won the Asian Regional Award from the ICC for “Best Spirit of Cricket Initiative” for the
2005 Lighthouse Phuket International Cricket Sixes, on the final day of this year's event the co-organisers, ACST and The Green Man,
received the amazing news that they had won the ICC Development Program Global Award.

These two awards for the 2005 Phuket tournament follow the ICC Asia Regional Award for “Best Women’s Cricket Initiative“ won by ACST’s Hong Kong event, the Ichor Hong Kong Invitational Cricket Sixes 2004.
