Phuket International Cricket Sixes

Next Tournament: To be confirmed

The tournament was first held in 2004, going ahead in the wake of the Tsunami, which had decimated the region just a few months earlier. This effort led to the event winning an ICC award for its work. Since then the tournament had continued to attract teams from around the globe, as participants have raised considerable sums to help cricket development in the area with the assistance of the Phuket Cricket Group.

This magnificent event has seen appearances from Australian Test and ODI players,

Trevor Chappell and Karen Rolton as well as England stars Adam Hollioake and Allan Mullally.

Thalang International Cricket 7s

Next Tournament: To be confirmed

This tournament was originally titled the Kata International 7s, and made its first appearance in 2012, becoming a popular event with its relaxed ambience allowing plenty of cricket, fun times away from the field and the bonus of allowing a skipper to select a player who doesn't have to bowl!

The 2017 event will be staged at the ACG in the north of the island. Thalang is the district in which the ACG is situated and is also a name formerly given to Phuket.
